The river sits about 40 to 50 feet below the cabin. In summer, the riverbank can be an incredible part of the stay for guests who feel steady and confident on uneven terrain. The private trail is steep and rough, with loose dirt and rocks, so it is not a simple walk from the cabin and will not be comfortable for everyone. The trail should not be used in winter. Conditions vary with weather and river levels, and all river access is at your own risk.

Seasonal firewood is provided when wood fires are permitted. The property includes charcoal, smoker and propane grilling options, but guests should confirm current fuel and fire-restriction details before arrival.
